An Exciting Addition to our range
We're delighted to announce our sixth release. This will be a seven year old Staiosha from the whisky mecca that is Islay.
When Integrity Malts launched our first Staiosha expression we really didn't expect it to sell out quite as quickly as it did. We knew this Islay whisky produced by Bunnahabhain and aged in a first fill ex-Texas; Garrison Brothers 100-liter cask would be very popular. But still we thought bottles would be available for a few more months at least.
With this in mind we've thought long and hard about releasing something with similar appeal. And so, this time we've chosen to bottle another 100-liter sister cask. But this time some of the spirit it will be finished for 12 months in a Pedro Ximénez octave.
We really like Bunnahbhains 'Staiosha' whisky and we believe it is a perfect expression to pair with the PX wood. We'd also love to give those of you who have ordered the original bourbon bottle the chance to compare the two.
Due to finishing in a small octave cask, we'll only be releasing 60 bottles on the Still in Cask website this time, so please be quick if you would like one
